Reclaiming Technology is a practice-based research project initiated by Silvia Binda Heiserova as a resident artist of the EU Digital Deal Residencies programme hosted by Pro Progressione. By demystifying, explaining and debating technology, the project aims to question androcentric narratives around technologies and empower women to critically engage with technologies. Finally, it aspires to bring answers to the question: What could be a feminist approach to technology and how to practice it?
Reclaiming Technology Sessions is an event series dedicated to collectively examining how technology, often perceived as a neutral tool, perpetuates social and gender biases while manipulating the pace of everyday lived time, consequently diminishing opportunities for critical reflection and inclusive participation.
