The TIDAL ArtS project bridges the divide between human and natural ecosystems to address climate, environmental, and biodiversity challenges affecting oceans and inland waters. Embracing the fluidity of water as both subject and practice, TIDAL ArtS merges art and science to deepen awareness and inspire actionable solutions for ecosystem protection and regeneration. By collaborating with scientists, artists, cultural and technological institutions, and civil society, TIDAL ArtS invites citizens to engage in co-creation and public discourse around aquatic conservation.
This interdisciplinary initiative fosters a renewed harmony between humans and nature through knowledge-sharing, artistic expression, and citizen involvement, empowering local communities to influence environmental stewardship and innovation.
This project is funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
