OPEN CALL: European Solidarity Residency 2026

We’re inviting early-career curators and cultural professionals—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds—to join our second, 2026 cohort across Budapest, Dubrovnik & Lidice (14 September–13 October 2026). ESR offers 20 fully funded residencies across 2025–26.

🎁 What you’ll receive: Accommodation, travel, coworking space, mentoring, and a €1,500 fee — with EU travel covered + ESR Commons Membership (Free): all applicants get access to live talks, Q&As, and a growing resource library—even if not selected.

👐 Who can apply: Early-career curators and cultural professionals residing in Creative Europe countries, including applicants with children or disabilities, and those affected by any war.

The ESR 2026 Open House I: How to Apply (Technical Session) will take place via Google Meet on Thursday, 30 April 2026, 6 pm.

The 60-minute session will cover the details of the ESR 2026 residency program, including application deadlines and logistics, and will include a reminder of the tight deadline for the current open Call. It provided prospective applicants with a clear, step-by-step walkthrough of the application process for the fully funded 30-day residencies in Budapest, Dubrovnik, and Lidice.
