During the Sofia Art Residency of the ECHO II project (May 2021), the artists-in-residence worked in special rented ateliers in one of the districts of Sofia. Marcella Papp, a visual artist based in Budapest represented Hungary during the residency.
Marcella studied fashion design, and for three years, the fashion designer Mária Bán was her mentor in painting and drawing. Her art mediums are painting, digital collages and analog photography. She has participated in a couple of group exhibitions and art projects, and has presented her work in two solo exhibitions. Currently, she works as a graphic designer.
