Between May 1 and 6, the LeCAKE consortium (consisting of 8 senior professionals and 16 young ambassadors) met in Italy, more specifically in Rieti and Rocca Sinibalda, to work together on local strategic cultural projects. One of the Hungarian participants, Dezdemóna Kovács, reports on the days spent together.
“The workshop, meeting and project planning tasks held in Italy inspired me as a young ambassador.
As a researcher, the professional community and the workshop led to the deepening of my research assessing the relationship between the European Green Agreement and the cultural sector, which I dealt with in the previous semester, commissioned by Pro Progressione and the LeCake international project.
So far, I have assessed and studied, among other things, international environmental law and its historical background, the European Union’s climate protection measures and their aspects to member states, as well as the possible contribution of art and artists to environmental protection, the ecological footprint of the film industry, and the possibility of green theaters. In an interview situation, I had the chance to work on the above mentioned topics with renowned artists who are active in the field of environmental protection.
Moderating and planning online English-language webinars and workshops, following and presenting the research was challenging but a fun learning opportunity at the same time.
Thanks for the support to my super project manager, Pro Progressione and the LeCake team. I have improved a lot. I am grateful that the Romaversitas community drew my attention to this job opportunity!
Thanks! I didn’t regret applying!”
