Revitalizing Rituals starts from the idea that the ecological crisis is also a crisis of connection: between people and land, between generations, between communities and their own living traditions.
The project responds by reactivating traditional food-based rituals as participatory tools for cultural regeneration, ecological awareness and social inclusion.
The project works with communities in Hungary and Tunisia. In each context, artists, community gatekeepers and local residents co-create contemporary ritual practices rooted in food, place, memory and sensory experience. These processes are supported by placemaking training, artistic anchoring, visual storytelling, impact reflection and public dissemination.
