What’SAP – Our Trainees

Natasa, Aba, Céline, Cheickna, Miloš, Marija, Sonja, Ivana, Martina, Kristýna, Hana, Viki, Heléna, Zsófi, Szilvi, Zalán – they are the trainees we first met at the What’SAP Academy at the end of July and with whom we will soon continue local work. We asked them 3 questions to know more about them! It’s time for you to get to know them, too!

The French Team:
Natasa Gatsiou, Aba Okono, Céline Coppry and Cheickna Wagué

French Team

Questions:

1. Describe yourself in ten words

Céline: “Simple, kind, strong, hypersensitive, generous, smiling, suspicious, perfectionist, indecisive, détermined.”
Cheickna: “I’m a 24 years old man passionate by editing and video.”
Natasa: “I like to smile and share with other people. I have a lot of energy .i am very sensitive. I love to discover. I have also one dark side and feel depressed. I love dance and movement and express my feelings with my body. I’ll try to see life with an optimistic way.”

2. Your dream job?

Céline: “Do a job who still permit me to share with other, with children and adults. I am a teacher in primary school: I would like to continue this transmission, and have more and more time to dance, share and enjoy with my pupils.”
Cheickna: “My dream job is to be a Filmmaker.”
Natasa: “My dream job is my job as a dancer. I would like to live from my job only and travel a lot for performances all over the world and in many theaters.”

3. What does this project mean to you? 3 values or 1 sentence

Céline: “This project mean that we are not alone who are fighting and flourish in our side. A lot of us are searching solution to share and help more the others, and to permit à each people to flourishing throught art. This project permit à unity, a link, between us. We need this. This moments are precious ; we share during the project and we have to beaming after when we are going back in our countries.”

For me this project learn me new things and how creative we are if we share and work as a team. It was amazing to realize in few time that you have common values with other people.”

The Serbian Team:
Miloš Janjić, Marija Miladinović, Sonja Mitrović and Ivana Antić

Serbian Team

Questions:

1. Describe yourself in ten words

Miloš: “It is at the same time hard and easy to describe yourself in 10 words. Let’s say, these are mine –Energetic, empathy, loud, patience, broad-chested, funny, open, dance, no borders, understanding.”
Marija: “Ambicious strong girl who is always for some creative work.”
Sonja: “It is very hard for me to describe myself, but if I have to it will be like a person who is always have a desire for new discoveries and new knowledge”

2. Your dream job?

Miloš: “My dream job is to do all the things I love to do. So, technically it is not one job, but it would be super boring if it is. My dream job is to support, teach, learn from, express, explore with children and adults.”
Marija: “This what I’m doing now – actress and drama pedagog.”
Sonja: “My dream job was journalism, wich I do now but since I descover a magic of theater, I would like to do something that could spred that ecstasy to the others.”

3. What does this project mean to you? 3 values or 1 sentence

Miloš: “This project meant a lot to me in different layers, it reminded me that there are more young people in the world who care about the future, and who are passionate about making things better, and that makes me happy.”
Marija: “Getting out of my comfort zone, learning to work in a group and improving personal skills.”
Sonja: “This project make me to learn how to be more socially engaged throught art.”

Martina Dobiášová, Kristýna Břeská, Hana Kokšalová

Czech

Questions:

1. Describe yourself in ten words

Martina: “I help people to express themselves on stage / in life.”
Kristýna: “Curious, passionate, wary, insecure, open, sharing, hard-working, discerning, easy-going.”
Hana: “Hard-working, motivated, passionate, open-minded, creative, flexible, innovative, organized, efficient, honest.”

2. Your dream job?

Martina: “Independent author who creates art she believes in.”
Kristýna: “I don’t have any dream job. I just need to create, dance, feel useful and spend my time meaningfully.”
Hana: “Not having to work at all (haha)”

3. What does this project mean to you? 3 values or 1 sentence

Martina: “It’s an opportunity to meet inspiring people who do a remarkable job, share and learn together.”
Kristýna: “This project is for me a practical meeting with a genre of theatre that works with social practise.”
Hana: “Experience, possibility, fun, ice cream.”

Hungarian

Questions:

1. Describe yourself in ten words

Viktória: “I’m a fundraiser in an NGO and I like to sing and dance in my freetime.”
Heléna: “1. Lough 2. Sea 3. Christmas 4. Lion 5.Transylvania 6. Theater 7. Motherly 8. Social 9. Concerned 10. Ireland”
Zsófia: “Heartfelt, spontaneous, adventurous, curious, creative, easy-going, empathetic, joyful, open minded, flexible.”
Szilvia: “Smile, theater, connections, doors, discovering, playfulness, curiosity, gratefulness, listening, chocolate-addiction.”
Zalán: “Describe myself in ten words: emotion–music–opening–closing–curiosity–help–bridge–acceptance–honesty–pain”

2. Your dream job?

Viktória: “Working with underprivileged children and youth through dance.”
Heléna: “Making an underwater theatre performance.”
Zsófia: “My dream job is to tell stories, make theater with passionate and curious people.”
Szilvia: “Taking theater to rural / hidden places.”
Zalán: “What is my dream job? I don’have a dream job… I would say among others that I want to create a company with civilians, using many ways of interaction and social art.”

3. What does this project mean to you? 3 values or 1 sentence

Viktória: “inspiration, new friends, inclusion”
Heléna: “It’s so uplifting to meet people after isolation, I’m really inspired by all the methodologies I’ve learnt.”
Zsófia: “The Socially Engaged Arts Practices project means to me that the fight for a more just society is worth it!”
Szilvia: “Thinking and creating together / community development / learning from each other.”
Zalán: “What does this project mean to me? This project means for me connection, acceptance, experiences, learning, exploration and love.”
